- I have a really hard time writing about ME. I grew up in Topeka, KS in a family with 4 brothers & 3 sisters in a girl, then boy, sequence all the way from the oldest to youngest, which I always thought was way cool!!! I met the love of my life, my husband Dennis, in a week long class, then 9 months later we married & will be married 31 years this April of 2010. We have 2 daughters age 26 & 22--where did all the years go? We are now experiencing the "empty nest" phase of our lives. We share our daily lives now with 2 dogs, which I love working with & training-they keep us VERY ENTERTAINED!!
